1. Greed: What’s your most inexpensive beauty item? What’s your most expensive beauty item?

My most inexpensive beauty item would probably be my Daiso makeup. Everything in the store is $2.80 and I have several eyeshadow palettes from there. But since my collection has expanded a lot since I purchased them, I don’t ever use them anymore! For most expensive, it’d be my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder. Living in Australia, makeup is already expensive as is so you can assume that higher end products are even more ridiculous in price! Thankfully, this is a powder that I use everyday but it still has not dented in the slightest so I know it’s great value for money. I paid $59 for it! x_x At least it’s an amazing product! If we’re including tools then it would definitely have to be my Clarisonic Mia 2, it’s a huge investment and considering that the brush heads need replacements once in awhile, it adds up! It’s still one of the best beauty items I have ever purchased though! =)

2. Wrath: What item do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Definitely false eyelashes. I love how they look but I hate applying them (they can get really messy) and I always get worried that they might start to peel off to the point where people will start to look at me funny. =(

3. Gluttony: What brand takes up most of your collection?

I’ll have to go with Too Faced. They have amazing products and I’ve never had any bad experiences with them. The packaging is also just so adorable!

4. Sloth: What product do you neglect the most due to laziness?

Primer! I know that they make a big difference in how your makeup applies and looks but I’m just not bothered to use them, especially face primers.

5. Pride: What product gives you the most confidence?

Definitely BB cream or foundation. I’ve already mentioned that my skin is my biggest insecurity so if I can get it to look nice and even then I’ll be a lot more confident in myself! =) I’m definitely going to look into skin treatments so that I can be a lot more comfortable in my own skin and not feel bad about going into public with absolutely no makeup on.

6. Lust: Which item is at the top of your beauty wishlist?

There are so many things I want to try because of all the blog posts I’ve read and it’s hard to keep track too LOL! Right now I really want to pick up some Bobbi Brown products and I’ve always wanted the Bite Deconstructed Rose Lip Gloss Library but I know that it was limited edition so it’s a bit pricey to purchase now (honestly I just think it looks super pretty hehehe). I would also absolutely love to try the GlamGlow masks and more YSL lip products! (Sorry that was way more than one and I have so many more ><).

7. Envy: Which makeup product looks great on other but not on you?

Nude/pale lips. I’m sure that I just need to find the right shade but I’ve never owned or tried a nude lipstick that I’ve enjoyed. I always feel that I need at least a little bit of colour on my lips so I always go for more natural pinks on a daily basis. Even when I wear heavier eye makeup, I still feel that I look better with a my lips but better shade as opposed to nude.

I actually bought a couple of pairs of false lashes almost two years ago but every single time I try to put them on it just doesn’t work LOL. And I actually have two primers but I almost always end up forgetting to apply them. Which is crazy, considering how much my super oily skin needs it 😛

LOL I’m the same! Or it’s really rare that I get it right. 😛 Ah, I’d probably be the same with primers! I only have a small sample of one but I never use it! I have super oily skin too but I’ve found the perfect base for me that somehow keeps my oiliness at bay! :O

Hehe I’m always raving about it but it’s Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream! I swear my skin does not get oily, I get the tiniest bit of oil on tip of my nose and that’s it! It lasts all day and it feels soo lightweight, I don’t even notice I’m wearing makeup! I love it so much! ❤

Oh no it’s totally fine hehe, didn’t mean for it to come off that way! :O I just feel bad for mentioning it all the time, people must be so sick of it HAHAHA. It’s like ugh not that product again. 😛 It really is so so amazing though! ❤ Please try it if you can get it! 😀 😀

I didn’t understand it the wrong way, I’m sorry if it sounded like I did :-/ I’ve never heard of it before, I’m not sure I can get it anywhere around here. Guess I’ll just have to order it online LOL 😉

Hehe it’s ok! 😀 Not a problem at all! Just wanted to make sure I didn’t come across as being rude or anything! >< Yes! Order it online! I order it online too because it's cheaper than buying it in an official store. Just make sure you look up reviews on all the shades to make sure you pick up the right one and also make sure it's a seller located in Korea if you're purchasing off eBay! 🙂 Thankfully this particular BB cream has a wider shade range than other Asian ones. 😛

Absolutely! 😉 The one that’s worked best for me so far has been the Make Up Factory Oil-Free Foundation. But my skin’s a total diva and gets used to products really quickly so I have to change it up every three months or so. Next time I get used to my foundation, I’ll definitely check yours out and let you know how I feel about it 😉

Ohh I’ve never tried that one before, I’ll go check it out! :O Ah that sucks! 😦 The Missha one actually contains skincare ingredients in it so it’s actually good for your skin to wear it! 😀 Hopefully your skin doesn’t get used to it! But definitely let me know, I’d love to hear how your experiences with it! ❤

Let me know what you think about it when you try it 🙂 My skin even gets used to skincare products, I have to switch things up every three/four months. Hopefully the Missha one will be the exception to the rule 😉

When you used your Daiso makeup, were they any good?
Aw me too, I don’t fancy wearing false lashes especially because I wear glasses. My lenses would get up too close.
    Love this post, Dorkchops 🙂

They were definitely not bad at all for the price! 😀 I had better luck with the 5 colour shimmery palettes than I did with the matte trio palettes! 🙂 They were decently pigmented and the colours were really pretty! ❤ I had a natural brown and a purple one! Yes, I've heard that lashes get in the way when you wear glasses!
Thank you so much Janice! ❤

Another fun tag and I have to agree finding the right nude I go crazy for it, thankfully after many attempts I found 2 in the Nars Audacious Anita and Vanessa but Vanessa being my ultimate favorite. It took ages to find it though. Love Bobbi Brown products and yes to YSL products! I have tons of samples of Glam Glow masks and wish I could send you some but if Sephora is close to you I would go there and ask for samples. They always give a generous amount and its free! xoxo Janet

Tags are so fun to do! ❤ I know, I still haven't found the perfect one for me yet! 😦 I just googled them and Vanessa looks sooo beautiful! ❤ Aw, how do you find the masks? Are they worth the hype? :O Thank you for the suggestion, I'll go see if I can get some samples in my Sephora! 😀

I have gotten them from my online orders from Sephora, they have great codes for free things and also going into the actual store I always stock up on them. I have tried their eye mask and loved it but not the price so I think during the holidays I will be buying it when it comes with a good set. Vanessa is beautiful and a perfect purple undertone yet pink nude so it is one of my ultimate favorites. I hope you are able to find a good nude but I know the struggle it is so hard. Hope your Sephora is able to give you lots of samples. I keep asking but end up giving them away since I know I can always ask for more and when a friend asks if I have used them I just give them mine since it was free.

So lucky! Sephora Australia hasn’t opened online shopping yet so I have to wait! 😦 Thanks for letting me know! I’ve always been curious to see if anyone’s had any bad experiences considering it’s sooo expensive! Vanessa truly looks so beautiful, I can see why you like it so much! 😀 I hope I can too! I always get scared to purchase them too because I’m worried I’ll waste a lot of money on unflattering colours! Thank you so much! I hope we have the same policy as you guys do in the US! 😀 😀 You’re so generous Janet! That’s a great idea. ❤ ❤

Oh man that really stinks they haven’t opened up shipping, I do all my Sephora shopping mostly online because of all the codes for free samples. Like the one in the post today 3 mini lipsticks all great brands for free! I mean a purchase of $25-$35 is required but that’s fine since that’s how much something costs. I try to avoid going to my local Sephora since the workers are hit or miss, I don’t ask too many questions and just go in to buy but if I see a worker not doing anything I love asking them to make samples and there is never a limit which is super nice. Yeah i know what you mean about buying and not being able to return, that is how MAC is once you buy it and use it you are screwed and have to keep it. So I am sad I have two dupes of the Oxblood lipstick lolol but I don’t mind too much since the unique rubber packaging is super nice 🙂 It is hard to buy offline though because colors all look beautiful online but once on can either look terrible on one’s skintone or be so drying. Ugh I love lipsticks and if I could I would buy them all but have learned only too well that if I am buying online blindly I love Sephora and Nordstrom since they take back anything even used. Wish you had easy access to these stores 😦

I know! 😦 I’m not even sure if they will plan to anytime soon either so I guess I just have to wait. 😦 That’s sooo nice, you get so many great deals! :O Spending $25-$35 to get it isn’t bad either! Oh yesss, I’ve heard about some really bad experiences with the workers there! Some of them were just so rude! I’ve heard that the return policy is great at Sephora too though! It’s so nice they let you return things if something doesn’t work out the way you want it to. Aw, MAC should totally start accepting returns! 😦 Yeah that’s the only complaint I have with online shopping! >< Especially when it comes to picking out face and lip products! Haha I would totally buy them all too! 😛 😛 Aw thank you for your concern hehe. I wish I did too! 😦 Hopefully I'll get to visit the US again soon though! 😀 ❤

Yeah I really don’t get the attitude and just meanness from the workers but I need my makeup fix and force myself to go if I am looking for foundation or concealer that I can’t just buy blindly and need help finding my color in a brand. I so wish Mac would accept returns but alas all my stuff I don’t use I always donate since I don’t know what else to do with it and I am too lazy to sell online. Omg I hope you do get to visit because you have friends everywhere now lololol I am sure I’m not the only one who would love to meet and catch up and shop for makeup

I know! I mean if they dislike their job, they should just leave and not ruin the customers’ day! 😦 Some stories are absolutely horrible though! I think I would overlook it too LOL I need my makeup hehehe. Donating is also really great! As long as someone gets to enjoy the products right? 😀 Hahaha aw I’m so glad to have met so many new friends! I so want to, I didn’t spend nearly enough time there! A meet up would be so fun! 😀 😀

I wonder the same thing both Sephora and Ulta, I dread going into and if it isn’t for something I really need or a return I wouldn’t step foot into either store unless it is absolutely necessary.
A meetup would only be too much fun! I have so many places I never dreamed I wanted to go to but now with all my new friends I wouldn’t mind checking them out one bit. Blogging has certainly opened up so much. Hope you have a great day Jen ❤

Oh is Ulta like that too? That’s horrible. 😦 Must be so hard for newbies to go in and get help, they must feel so sad when the workers are being mean!
Yes! 😀 I’ll let you know if I go again, it probably won’t be anytime soon though unfortunately! 😦 😦 I’m taking a break from traveling for a bit to get back into my studies! I know, blogging has really opened up so much! 😀 It’s so amazing! I hope you have a great day too Janet hehe. ❤ ❤

I love the idea of this tag, I might just steal it. I think I’ll have the same answer as you for wrath. ;o I’m always terrified that the wind would blow one right off, or the heat will melt the lash glue.

This is so cute! Since I’m a make-up fiend, I think I may do this too!

I’m with you on wanting to try pale shades but looking horrible in it. I bought an NYX pale pink lipstick (Chic) without trying it on. I looked like one of those spray tanned girls on Jersey Shore. Haha! I’m lazy on primers too. Haha!

    Creative one!

I know right? 😦 I’ve picked up shades that everyone seemed to absolutely love but they looked horrible on me! 😦 Must be my odd complexion or something LOL. I looked like someone off Jersey Shore too! 😛 😛 Haha it seems like everyone is lazy with primers!

I so agree with you on answer #5. Ever since my foundation was withdrawn from the market, I’ve been having a hard time finding that same my confidence I had wearing a foundation with the right color match. I remember a woman once commented on how perfect my skin was. At that time I was wearing this foundation, as I usually did then, and when I told her it was thanks to the foundation, she looked surprised and said she would never have thought I was wearing one. It used to be called Topaz glow, from FF. Now, I’m not sure which one it is. They’ve changed everything about the product: names, codes, packaging, colors … Today, after about a year, I still haven’t found the right color match for me. It has become this difficult because my retail store in Rome, Italy has stopped carrying FF, I now live in Malmö, Sweden and retail stores here don*t carry FF at all. So, I’m left with only one option, to buy online, but the thing is, I never get to try the colors on my skin first. I’ve tried BB, Mac, and some other brand I found at my local pharmacy, but none of them gave my skin that compact, perfect look with a glow FF Topaz did. It also gave me better UV protection, allowed my skin to breathe better and moisturized it. Now, I easily get sunburn. My pores are clogged and I have spots and discoloration from the burns. Mac just sits on my face like dry clay, BB simply enhances my hyper pigmentation, and this weird one I got from the pharmacy gives my face a gray, unpleasant tone.
I just ordered a Cream to Powder from Iman and a foundation from the new FF collection. Fingers crossed. Hopefully, I will find my right match again, some day 🙂

Completely agree with you on that one! If the foundation isn’t the exact same colour, I feel even worse than if I wasn’t wearing any at all! Wow Topaz Glow sounds incredible, it would be amazing to have skin that looked naturally flawless! Shame they’ve changed all the packaging and everything now so you can’t get a hold of it anymore. 😦 I completely agree with shopping for foundations online, you really don’t know how well it’s going to match until you try it on yourself in person. Especially since some of them adjust after a few minutes by oxidising and everyone takes photos in different lightings in their reviews so sometimes it’s hard to find a true representation of the colour! Fingers crossed for the foundation you purchased! 🙂 🙂 I know you will find your perfect foundation match again! Keep searching! ❤ Hopefully you won't have to after you give that one a try though!

My most expensive beauty item has to be the $42.00 Aquataenia eye shadow palette from Lime Crime, but I justify my purchase because of its high quality, vibrant & lasting pigment, and it’s totally out of reproduction.
