Review: Canmake Loose Cheek Blush Powder in #02 Rose Pink

Today I will be reviewing this loose cheek powder blush by Canmake that I wore in my FOTD post two days ago. It’s the only loose blush I own. I don’t own a lot of Japanese cosmetics but I always hear that they are high quality so I’m always curious about them!

The packaging is very adorable but it is also quite bulky so I wouldn’t recommend it for travelling with. It comes with a powder puff that is held by a plastic strap and you need to push down on it to open the product! I think this is a genius idea because it keeps everything held together to avoid any spilling accidents. =)

Rose Pink is a warm-toned medium peachy pink shade that swatches with a lot of fine glitter particles but applies matte on the skin! I’m not sure if it’s the blush brush I use to apply the product that gets rid of the glitter but there are definitely no visible sparkles when I look at my cheeks close-up! =)

The swatch picture above washes out the colour a little bit but I can reassure you that it is very pigmented! Only a little amount is needed to achieve full and even colour on the cheeks. However, the only issue I have is that it can be a bit of a hassle to get product out! I generally like to apply my blush really quickly using a pressed powder. =P

Overall, this blush is nice to own but it’s not a necessity. I don’t reach for it often just because it is a hassle that it is a loose powder but I don’t feel disappointed when I use it. If you were curious to try it out but had other products in mind, it wouldn’t be a big deal if you skipped on on this one!

Loose blushers are a pain… I have quite a few because I got really interested in mineral makeup a while back. They’re pretty but not necessary when pressed powder blushers work just as well.
Although, I’m a HUGE sucker for Asian cosmetics because of all the cute / pretty / girly packaging. I can’t resist!

Yes, they are! It’s my only one but I can imagine that all loose blushers must be as much of a hassle! I agree, I’m so happy with pressed blushes! They’re so much more convenient to use. 😀 Hehe I know, I’m a huge sucker for cute packaging too! Asian cosmetics always have the best packaging!

Than you so much for your support! ❤ Hehe yes, I really enjoy using Asian cosmetics so I want to share them with everyone! I know! 😦 It takes up quite a bit of space if you ever plan to travel with it!

Loose powder blush makes me slightly nervous – I feel like it’s difficult to control (though I use loose powder foundation daily…practice makes perfect I’m sure)!
