Before I started going to the gym or when I wanted to do some extra exercise, I was working out at home using YouTube videos. They are perfect because you can access them anytime and anywhere! I’m someone who doesn’t like working out by myself but when I watch videos, I feel as though I’m working out with someone else and it’s convenient because you just follow along with the exercises they’re doing!
This was the first fitness YouTube channel I got into when I first started out. Unfortunately, they no longer upload new videos (they have been re-uploading their old videos) but their previous videos are still available and they are great nonetheless. They have a wide range of workouts available! I especially adore the workouts by Kelsey Lee and Rebecca-Louise (pictured above). They’ve moved on to make other workout videos so if you like them as much as I do then you can YouTube their names for more updated videos!

I really enjoy Fitness Blender for their more longer workouts, but of course they have a wide range of shorter workouts too if you don’t have a lot of time. A lot of them also include a warm-up and a cool-down so you can get right into it without doing anything extra. Not only do they upload workout routines, they also have some nutritional informative videos for a lot of frequently asked questions people want answers for when it comes to health that are well worth checking out!

Blogilates is probably one of the most popular fitness YouTubers and when you give her workouts a try, you can definitely see why she is such a great personal trainer. She also has some quick, cheap and simple recipes on her channel that you can try out. Her workouts are very intense and they seriously burn. If you’re short on time but you want extremely effective workouts, Cassey is someone you seriously need to check out!

This is awesome! I shall def be checking these videos out! I’m too shy to go to the gym on my own so I like to pop one of Davina McCall’s DVDs into the DVD player and get a good workout that way. I love her DVDs.

The guys from The Ftitness Blender are simply amazing! I love their workouts! 👌😌 Then at a certain point not even their tabata workouts were enough and I found Gilian Anderson. I got abs in 2 weeks, no joke! Check her out too! 😉

Yeah! One little detail though! I trained every single day, which isn’t recommended at all! But I was addicted! The adrenaline rush is amazing! 👌😌😁😘😘

I have never tried any YT vids, so thanks for the suggestions. After a very long break form doing any exercises, I am back in the game. I’ve completed 30 days of Bikram yoga and on my way to completing 90 days of yoga. I will start to add some running back in (Ugh! I have a love/hate relationship with running. I hate the thought of it/love the way I feel after a run). I also have a Tracey Anderson Method DVD that I keep meaning to try out.

I absolutely adore Blogilates!! Haven’t found a workout from her that I don’t enjoy yet! I do mostly youtube workouts! It’s just so easy to do at home and it’s harder to make excuses when you some of them are pretty short 🙂

I love blogilates! Cassey is soo cheery it is almost annoying, but that youtube chanel saves me on long trips for work were I can’t go to the gym.

YouTube is awesome! I do boxing at a boxing gym and they have us doing a lot of interval training, cardio, and some weight lifting. I might also start doing jiu jitsu and muay thai this summer too.

Yes, YouTube was the perfect starting point for me but I prefer the gym now since I’ve gotten more into weightlifting! 😛 I really want to try muay thai too, you seem to be so fit with all the exercise you have going on!

One has to start somewhere! Working out at a gym is way better than working out at home in that they have so much more to offer and there’s no time to be lazy! I’ve been dying to learn a fighting style that incorporates kicks. I’m alright lol I haven’t been to the gym in a month or two due to work and school but I’ll be back 😉

Yes, I agree on that! There’s just not a chance I can weightlift at home hahaha. I’ve been feeling the same, I want to work on my cardio in other ways other than running and HIIT. Definitely get back into it when work and school aren’t too much to handle! 😀

my doctor told me about xhit! I still haven’t tried it but I should! I like doing a 10 minute yoga stretch before I do a dance workout (dancing is like the only fun way for me to workout). I like the 30 minute videos best!

Blogilates is one of my favorites, but FitnessBlender is a good backup. I do Blogilates free monthy workout calendar that is given on her website, which tells you which videos to do each day; I love it! Great post!
