Review: TonyMoly Crystal Jelly Cheek Pot in 01 Angel Peach

YAY! =3 It’s my official two month blogging anniversary today! Thank you all for the amazing support you have given me since I first started up my blog! You guys are the loveliest bunch of people and I will also continue to always support all of you too. ♡

I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve done a review. I’m sorry it’s been so long but I still hope you all have been enjoying my other blog posts. Today I’ll be reviewing a blush by TonyMoly. I picked this up from YesStyle at the beginning of last year because it was on clearance and at the time, I didn’t have many blushes in my collection let alone a more peachy-orange toned shade! I was also just very intrigued as to what ‘Crystal Jelly’ meant! =O

I really love the feeling of this blush. It feels very soft and almost creamy like but it’s definitely a powder. It feels spongy like a cushion, which completely explains why it has ‘jelly’ in the product name. The packaging itself is also lightweight and easy to travel with. It’s just a standard clear and compact case!

The colour looks quite out there in the swatch because it looks like a true pastel peach shade (under natural indoor lighting it definitely comes across as being more orange than in the picture above, which was taken under sunlight) but if you look at the picture of it on my skin right below, you can see that it doesn’t translate that harshly at all because of the pigmentation of the blush.

The blush itself is sheer and requires multiple layers for it to show up on my personal skin tone. It would look beautiful on people with paler skin tones but on me, I really have to build up the blush for it to show up. The end result is very natural and gives a peachy flush on the cheeks.

Overall, I’m not extremely impressed and I wouldn’t say it’s necessary for you to buy this product. It’s definitely just an average blush but the only thing is that it has an interesting texture that is fun to play around with! Even when it comes to my most natural makeup looks, I want a blush that is more pigmented so it can add enough colour on my face. When I have more colour on my cheeks, I don’t feel the need to wear more eye makeup or wear a brighter lip shade!

It seems like a pretty colour! I think TonyMoly seem to go for less pigmented colours with their cheek products :/ Etude house cookie blushers are nice and pigmented though (I had a strawberry choux one??? I think and I had to be careful with the application due to how pigmented it was. I may try this out if I’m up for experimenting as my skin is slightly lighter than yours so it may work okay with me!

Yes the colour is quite pretty! Aw I had no idea, I just picked it up because I was curious to feel the texture hehe. Yes! I have one of the cookie blushes too but I ended up getting one of the less pigmented ones so I should try the others! 😀 You might like this one then! 😀 They have a pink one and an even more orange one if you’re interested! ❤

Limited range 😦 not that I’m bummed or anything, as I don’t wear blush at all. But sucks though 😦 TonyMoly products are quite lovely. Anyways, the blush on you looks quite natural and pretty. Congratulations on your two month blog anniversary! 😀 What will you do to celebrate? Hehe.

I can’t really tell at the moment.. I haven’t been using it long enough to see any difference. Maybe works better for fairer skin than me? Who knows. I still try to use it every second night..maybe I should use it every night? But I can tell you that the aloe vera is super dooper working well! Hehe

Oh yes of course, have to give it at least a month to really see! :O Yes maybe! I’d still be curious to try it out just because of the packaging hehe. Yesss the aloe vera is life changing right?! 😀 😀

Congrats on your 2 months anniversary! 😀 Wow, I would not have guessed you’ve only been blogging for such a short amount of time. You make blogging look so effortless!
I was curious to see what you had to say about this blush. It looks like it resembles the Dream Bouncy blushes from Maybelline and I don’t really like those. Shame this blush (despite it’s awesome colour!) didn’t work better for you!

I always hear TonyMoly but don’t know what it is. Great review. I really liked the color when you swatched it especially because I love me some peachy toned blushes. I changed my mind when you said it requires layering because I just wanna swipe blend and go!

Congrats on the 2 month blogiversary!:) I am going to get my hands on some Korean makeup (though maybe not this one…lol). My friend told me about a Korean eyeliner (I can’t recall the name so I have to ask her…or maybe you know?). It’s pretty inexpensive, but she can only get it from there or at an airport in Asia:(
