Hi everyone! I’ve come across some really beautiful nail art on Pinterest, Facebook and Tumblr that I wanted to share with you guys. Hopefully you’ll feel inspired and draw some ideas from some of these! I personally am not that great at nail art but I know a lot of people who are into it and I also just get incredibly amazed by how much talent it takes to do them! Let me know which one is your favourite, what sort of nail polish colours you guys usually use and whether you like doing nail art or not! I’d love to know. =)

Just like one of your previous post about Autumn OOTD – I thought the first picture was your nails! Then I started scrolling and realised these were inspirations from Pinterest! Haha. I’m so gullible ;D They are all very pretty. I like the glitter French and the roses. But my nails are too short for any of these haha.

HAHAHA I so wish they were! I should give them a go myself! I always end up just taking it off though because I can’t get it to look perfect. 😦 I’m growing my nails out at the moment so I can’t do any of these either LOL.

The only ‘nail art’ I can do is that marble effect. Would you even call that nail art? I call that a mess lol! I’ve tried that pink one, where you paint the ring finger a different colour or shade to every other nail but I don’t put a jewel on it.

Yes! That totally counts! I’ve actually never tried it before but I’ve always thought it looked really cool! Haha me too! 😀 I want to start experimenting with some jewels, I had some sitting at home but I never use them!

Use them and let me know how they go 🙂 I feel that using jewels they won’t last on me because of the work I do. But they’d be fun to use for the weekend.

I will! I might actually do that pink manicure! :O Except it won’t look as nice since I don’t have a gel nail polish kit! 😦 So true though, they would be so perfect for the weekends! 😀

Love how you described it – crisp and clean around the edges !! Hahaha. It’s expensive though? The machine thing and nail polishes?

Haha thank you and yes they can be expensive! 😦 I think there are some cheaper ones available these days but I just haven’t gotten around to get one yet and I’m too lazy with the removal process too!

Mine came in a kit so it had like these metal plates with engravings on them and what you do is you put the nail polish onto them and use a scraper to remove the excess. Then you take the stamper (I can’t really describe what material it is, it’s kind of translucent looking o_o) but you roll over the design and then press it onto your nails! 😀 It’s not small at all but it’s hard to get it even if you want to do it on more than one nail LOL. And sometimes it doesn’t transfer well so it just gets ruined. 😦

I think I am getting a better picture of it now that you explained it to me. So thanks girl! I guess I don’t really need a stamper since I like to paint the designs. It’s more fun to me that way! 🙂 Also, it started to sound complicated lol

Yay that’s good! I was beginning to think I didn’t make any sense at all LOL. You’re welcome! ❤ Hehe I wish I could paint them! But yes it's difficult to know if the stamp will transfer well or not so I don't want to take the risk. I don't like starting over again with nail polish! 😛 Hehe I agree, painting it seems a lot more fun to do! I think it'd be faster that way too, depending on what exact design you're doing! 😀

Hehe I’m glad you could understand me! 😛 I know, I hate it too! It also always happens when I just paint my nails in general because I nick them on things! 😦 So frustrating LOL.

Ontario is beautiful! And Toronto is a mini New York. I live on the western side with the mountains which one could never get enough of looking at them. 🙂
I guess it’s a cultural thing about saying ones self is good at something which seems kinda weird now that I think about it. There’s nothing wrong with saying I’m great at whatever and I suck at whatever! Hahaha!
I am a feather artisan so I practically live, breathe, drink, eat and sleep in feathers so doing feathers on my nails was easy. I wasn’t Happy with my feathers of choice I used even though strangers we constantly stopping me to look at my nails. So I plan to do them again soon but all in peacock feathers which when I do, I’ll do another and better tutorial. 🙂

Haha I would be one of those people stopping you just to look at your nails! 😀 But definitely try out a peacock look, that would be so beautiful! 😀 And I’ll definitely check out the post when you do!

I have a feeling you would adore the mountains and scenery on the Western side! 😀
(i need to find where all my emoticons went as I see I haven’t any today..lol)

Yes, I am chomping on the bit to do peacock feather nails but the price has went up and I am currently on the road. Were I home, I have a massive stock of peacock feathers. Actually my dining room looks like a feather factory and I can’t even use my dining table it’s so stacked with boxes, crafting supplies, glue guns..hahaha! 😀

Yes, I love looking at beautiful scenery! 🙂 Haha a post by me is incomplete without at least a few emoticons/smileys! 😛
Oh are feathers normally very expensive? I’m not familiar with them but they seem hard to work with so I’m really impressed with how much you use them! 🙂

Emoticons are a funny thing! I normally have endless choices I use but for some reason I woke up and POOF! They were gone from my phone. .
Which oddly enough made me miss them.. But upon just firing up my tablet I’m having a facepalm moment as WHOO WEEE!! My emoticons are still on my tablet and WHY didn’t I think to check?? So.. 😄😘😘😄😃😀😀😃😀😀😄🐶🐱🐹🐷🐰🐤🐯🐜🐋🐂🐝🐀💐🍀🌹🐩💝💝💝💝💝🎁🎁🎁🎁
For basic crafting feathers sometimes they can be found in the Dollar Store’s for a few dollars. But Yes recently prices have went up on more fancy or specific types of feathers such as SaddleBacks, Peacock and Pheasant.. Darn I wish I was at home because I could take a few pictures. I started out making huge proper feather fascinators (I highly doubt she ever received it but I did make and mail a fantastical fascinator for the lovely Royal Kate) as headbands but think of…just seeing a gigantic cascade of feathers on the head and hair. Mostly I make those for wedding’s, or funerals. That segwayed into making Victorian style hat’s large and small, to clothing of my own design. If I can find anything that will look awesome sauce jazzed up with feathers I’ll make it. I make a lot of time consuming jewelry as well. If I currently wasn’t on the road I’d be having no time to blog as id be knee deep in orders, feathers, jewlery supplies and making a lot of custom ordered items for the spring and summer bridal season. So although I wasn’t Happy with the results of my feather nails it wasn’t a stretch to do.
Darn! I just wrote you a book! LOL!!! 😄😄😄

Oh if you showed your feather collection that would be so so fascinating and amazing! 😀 Sounds so beautiful from what I’m imagining! 😀 That’s so awesome, how long does it take to make one? Haha aw well I’m glad you have the time to blog right now because your posts are so fun! 😀 HAHAHA it’s ok I don’t mind long comments at all! 😂😂

Good thing! I wrote you a novel! Hahahaha!! 😄😄
Depends, but I can count on a good 20 hour’s plus if it’s a large piece, placing one feather at a time.
Thank you about my blog. It means a lot to me that you enjoy it. I am always feeling humbled as I am surrounded by perfect finely honed blogs yourself included and well, I sometimes feel like ole granny tagging along. 😊

Love the black & gold (which is more my style) but the Stars one is SO adorable! I also quite like the confetti one (wish I’d had that on my nails for Carnival season, it would suit my costume’s colors so well…). Overall, some great ideas here – thanks for sharing!
