February Beauty Favourites ♡

FebruaryFavourites2015

Wow, this year has totally flown by. I feel like I just did my January favourites yesterday! Time seems to keep flying by faster and faster every year. I want to keep up the tradition of doing monthly favourites so this is the instalment for this month! =) I’ve definitely been loving a lot of the products I’ve reviewed this past month so there will be repeats in this post. I really do love the products though so that’s why they’re getting featured again. =P (For now lets just assume that the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream is my favourite for life so I won’t be adding it into all my monthly favourites because that would get extremely repetitive and boring LOL).

‘Bad to the Bronze’ has been my go to cream eyeshadow for days where I want to do a minimal natural makeup look. It’s quickly become one of my all time favourite eyeshadow shades because it is so beautiful but adds enough definition to the eyes without being too much at all. It also lasts all day on me with no creasing!

I will be posting a full review on this soon but for now I just have to say that this eyebrow mascara has been so convenient to use everyday! It has fibres within its formula so it is perfect for adding fullness to the brows while also setting the brow hairs in place all day and tinting them. I have it in the shade Dark Brunette, whichI was worried would be too dark but it isn’t at all. =)

Out of all the products I listed out in my skincare routine post, this has got to be my absolute favourite and the one I recommend most. It absorbs so easily into the skin but it is so effective and I love that it is lightweight because I have oily/combination skin and I don’t want anything too overly creamy on my face! If you want more depth into my experience with this product, check out my review here.

I’m normally someone who gravitates towards neutrals and pinks when it comes to nail polishes but I decided to try something new and wear grey! I totally love the way it looks. I love how this shade can sometimes come across as a dusty purple or a periwinkle blue depending on the lighting and I think it is such a fun colour.

This is another item that I’ve reviewed here. This eyeliner has become my go to because it is so easy to use and it is a deep brown shade that works perfectly for everyday use. It lasts all day on me and does not flake or separate at all!

So my final favourite is a bit of a random one but I’m in love with these hair ties! (You may have seen it featured in this post)! I run every week and all the hair ties I used prior to this one would always loosen up and not hold up my hair well at all. However, this particular hair tie is amazing! Although it’s really tight and requires a bit more work to get it twice around your hair, it really does hold up and doesn’t budge in the slightest.

What sort of products should I try in March? As always, I love receiving all the amazing recommendations from all of you! ♡

Interesting favorites! I want to try the hair ties so badly! It’s so annoying when they keep slipping off! I haven’t tried the others except for the aloe gel. I will definitely try the others as soon as possible!

You have to, it’s sooo nice! 😀 I know, they’re so expensive! They’re originally retailed at $17 here so when they were on special for $10 I couldn’t resist and bought it! 😛

Yes, I’ll for sure buy it. I’m just trying to convince myself that it’s worth it. LOL is the top coat really necessary? cos I don’t put top coat on my nail polish.

YESSS! Maybe wait for some specials to go on or something! I guess it’s not necessary, it just makes it look shiny like a gel manicure! 😀 It probably just wouldn’t last as long without it!

I love bad to the bronze! it’s one of my staples. Those hair bands look really good, i might have to give them a go myself! I always have trouble finding ones that will hold my hair. 🙂

Yes! ❤ It's so nice! I love everything about it, the colour is so pretty! The hair bands are really good, even though they're quite stiff but that just means they hold your hair up really well and don't budge at all! 😀 I never have to pull my hair back into it! 😛

Maybelline does bronze and other metallic browns so beautifully. I remember my first eyeshadow being a cream one from Maybelline called “Chill The Champagne”. I loved it so much that I used the whole tube up!

They do! 😀 Wow, I’ve yet to completely use up any eye products but I think this colour tattoo will be the first! 😀 I just tried to google that shade but I can’t seem to find it! 😦 I’m sure it was absolutely amazing though if you managed to use the whole thing!

Love the eyeshadow! I remember using face bronzer for natural looking eyeshadow, so that is definitely on my to-buy list!

And do you think those elastic bands would work on fine hair? Because my hair is always sliding out of ties, clips, boby pins, pretty much everything. I’d love to have something that actually held it for over an hour. :p

Thank you! 😀 That’s such a perfect way to use bronzer, I do that sometimes too! ❤ It definitely looks so natural!
LOL I know! Having your hair come undone is really frustrating! 😛 I think it could possibly work but the problem is that it might mean you need to loop your hair around 3 times and it's quite stiff already when I go around twice!

That might be a bit hard to work with, then. 😦 I sometimes think I need metal wire coils to keep my hair tamed. At least alice-bands haven’t let me down yet! 🙂

Yeah I think it might be! 😦 It’s probably still worth the effort though because it really doesn’t budge! LOL I used to think that too, nothing was ever working but these hair ties have worked wonders! 😀 I haven’t heard of alice-bands before but that’s great that they’re working for you! 🙂 ❤

Alice bands are just those plastic headbands that we all used to wear when we were little, but the grownup version. Because they’re a plastic horseshoe, they cling to your head and pin your hair down so you can use them as a frame for faux fringes, tucking up your hair or just scraping it our your face!

Plus, the grownup sized ones are sometimes really cute and blinged up on their own, so you can just stick one into messy hair and make the mess look almost intentional. 🙂

Oh so that’s what they’re called! Haha I had no idea! They sound incredible. 😀 I haven’t used one in so long! I should look into them again. 😛 If they have cute designs on them already, I’m so going to want to pick some up!

Thank you! That’s awesome! 😀 I just love how it doesn’t always look the same! I love the colour tattoos! They don’t crease on me at all and last all day. 😀 😀

Bad to the Bronze is one of my favorites too. Really want to try that brow plumper too; I was just researching it! I’ve been looking for a cheaper alternative too Benefit Gimme Brow.
